TUMMY TUCK ONE WEEK BEFORE - The above tummy tuck before and after pictures were taken a few days before undergoing Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) Plastic Surgery with Lateral Thigh Lift. The goal of the surgery was to remove excess skin from my midsection and backside. The first row of before pictures show various views of belly overhang and the primary reason for having the surgery. The last row of before photographs emphasizes the reason. Now I had to prepare for my tummy tuck surgery and hope that all goes well. I don't end up with tummy tuck horror story.

I woke up from tummy tuck surgery with a compression garment tight around my midsection.	During tummy tuck surgery they installed two tummy tuck surgical drains with drain tubes.	The day after my tummy tuck with body lift. Was it painful?	The lateral thigh lift portion of my tummy tuck operation. Skin was removed from all around my midsection.

TUMMY TUCK ONE DAY AFTER - The above tummy tuck before and after pictures were taken immediately after having Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) Plastic Surgery with Lateral Thigh Lift. Note the pictures of the blood stains on the compression bandage and the surgical drain tubes poking into my skin (I look like a Borg). It looks worse than it was. These Tummy Tuck "after pics" show that I was able to stand up straight and walk around the day after surgery. I had no pain and was actually feeling pretty good. I did, however, walked very carefully and slowly.

My tummy tuck incision was from hip to hip. Since I had a thigh lift too, it continued all the way around my midsection.	Bruises 2 days after my body lift. Where did these come from?	Tummy tuck stitches and sutures. I thought there would be more of them.	Body lift swelling was greater than I imagined. I actually gained weight from fluid retention.

I took off my compression garment so I could take these pictures. I immediately put it back on when I was done. Note that close-up pictures of the wound areas show that they were already healing nicely. It took 2-3 weeks for the bruises on my backside to go away.

After one week my tummy surgical drains were removed.	After one week my thigh lift was healing nicely.	One week after my tummy tuck I had numbness, but no pain.	One week after my tummy tuck I had numbness, but no pain.

These pictures were taken one day before I went for my first drive after having the surgery (one week earlier than I was suppose to). I was feeling pretty good. No pain.
