ONE WEEK BEFORE - The above before and after pictures were taken a few days before undergoing Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) Surgery with Lateral Thigh Lift. The goal of the surgery was to remove excess skin from my midsection and backside. The first row of before pictures show various views of belly overhang and the primary reason for having the surgery. The last row of before photographs emphasizes the reason. Now I had to prepare for my surgery and hope that all goes well. I don't end up with horror story.

 During surgery they installed two surgical drains with drain tubes. |
 The day after. Was it painful? |
 The lateral thigh lift portion of my operation. Skin was removed from all around my midsection. |
 Walking around the day after. I could walk and move slowly. |
 The surgical drains made me extra careful when I moved around. |
 The compression garment was tight, but comforting. It kept my incision area from moving around. |
 The blood on my compression garment was from the OR. By the time I got home it was dried. |

ONE DAY AFTER - The above pictures were taken immediately after surgery. Note the pictures of the blood stains on the compression bandage and the surgical drain tubes poking into my skin (I look like a Borg). It looks worse than it was. These pics show that I was able to stand up straight and walk around the day after surgery. I had no pain and was actually feeling pretty good. I did, however, walked very carefully and slowly.

TWO DAYS AFTER - The above pics were taken two days after my surgery. I took off my compression garment so I could take these pictures. I immediately put it back on when I was done. Note that close-up pictures of the wound areas show that they were already healing nicely. It took 2-3 weeks for the bruises on my backside to go away.
After 1 Week
 After one week my tummy surgical drains were removed. |

ONE WEEK AFTER - The above pics were taken one week after. I took off my compression garment so I could take these pictures. I immediately put it back on when I was done. Note the close-up views show that the wound areas were already healing nicely. These pictures were taken one day before I went for my first drive after having the surgery (one week earlier than I was suppose to). I was feeling pretty good. No pain.
These tummy tuck before and after pictures show dramatic results at different healing stages of tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) surgery. To document my story, pictures were taken 1 week before surgery and at intervals of 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 2 months, 3 months and 1 year after surgery.
