Hello, just a question I am going to have tummy tuck
on March 16th 2012 I am very excited but at the same
time a bit nerves I will be 51 on June 3rd, I feel
like I'm to old for a tummy tuck Has anyone known
somebody who is my age and had a tummy tuck if so is
it more difficult because I am a much older woman I
guess my fear is my age. I really do need this tummy
tuck. Does age plays a factor in a full tummy tuck?

Colette, I was 54 when I had my tummy tuck (along with a body lift) and I had no problems at all. Age may play a role in how fast you will heal and recover but is probably not as important as your health and physical condition. Since you already have your tummy tuck scheduled I would assume your surgeon doesn't think that you are too old.
