Pain, Swelling And Gurgling Sounds 6 Weeks After Tummy Tuck

Not knowing what your level of pain is, but it sounds like you don’t have too much to be worried about (just my opinion).

Of course with any medical conditions you should ask your doctor these questions, but as a former tummy tuck patient, I would guess that your swelling falls into the “normal” category because for many people, swelling can take months to go away.

As far as your pain in your right side goes, unless it is really severe, and there is no redness or infection, you may want to strap on your compression garment and give it a day or so and see if if goes away by itself.

With regard to the gurgling in your stomach, I have never heard of anyone complaining about that in association with a tummy tuck. Could It be just an upset stomach from your worrying about the pain and swelling and everything that you went through up to now? I would try eating some bland and healthy foods, possibly popping some antacids and see if it settles down after a while.
